Boys’ soccer team tryouts will start February 20th. All boys interested in the tryout need to sign up in room 902 with Mr. Murillo. There is no school on Monday. The award assembly is going to be on febuary 29 . Starting this monday all person has to wear to I.D to go in the cafeteria snd to purchase in the student store.

Image On Friday there was an assembly of Festival of Arts. They were celebrating Black History Month.The assembly was about Hip Hop dancing. Students of our school devote their time to practice for the assembly. The teachers that organize the assembly are Ms. Lengor, Ms. Hielig, Mr. Colunga-Hutxins.Some students said that it took alot time an effort to pull this all together.But it all went well. On the othere hand the teachers also put alot of effort to organize the assembly. The students where given and message about Black History Month. So they dance about it. Mr. Hutxins in the morning needed to prepare and instead he find a way to do that a teach is students because he had clases do teach and be in the autodtorium also. So he did the both things the assembly was a succeses and the special E.D sang a song too

Image Dr. Nunez is not looking forward to retiring from Demille. Mostly because he has enjoyed teaching the past students he has taught. Also the students that he is teaching. He took the 2008 students to the school Hill to play the songs " Pirates of the Carribean, Jublance,& The March." In the saxophone section is Chris T., Diego, Juan O. and Martin. In the clairnet section is Garbiel S.,Breonna, Andrea, Roman, Rodrigo, Rodney, Jose, and Brian. In the trupet section is Paul, Chris, and etc. Dr. Nunez has been teaching for 5 or more years. After the concert Dr. Nunez gave his class after the pizza and soda to reward them for their great studying, and concentration in the performance.

Image Mrs. Craig thinks that a lot of kids are into this presidential election than most actually are. Its kind of true because in Mrs. Craig's class it looks like there's a lot kinds interested to it.A boy in the 7th grade said that he was not interseted in the election. Mr. Deary, a substitute for Mr. Bustillos, thinks that the new President should worry about people with no jobs. Francisco Torres thinks that this election is great beacause he doesn't like Bush.

When Francisco was asked if he could vote who would he vote for he said somewhere between Obama and Clinton. The 7th grade boy said that he wouldn't want to get involved in this election that he would rather play video games.

Image Obama is beating Clinton by 150 delegates Obama has 1,164 delegates and clinton has 1,014 delegates. Mccain is beating Hukabee and Pual. Mccain has 657 delegates, Huckabee has 242 delegates and Pual has 14 delegates.

Alot of people are into this election. 66% of caucasians, are voting, 15% hispanic, 12% african-american, 4% asian, 3% other. Obama has raised $141 million, Clinton $138 million, Mccain $53 million, Paul $33 million, Hukabee $13 million.
